The Azorea Trilogy

book 1 the Azorea Trilogy

The Final Hope

Our story begins on the planet Azorea, light years from earth.  Ruled by one family for ions, the current ruler struggles with wayward factions of his own family, bent on destroying the government and himself.  His name is Griegor.  His brother, Cormack leads the terrorist factions out of jealousy and a thirst for power.  He is responsible for the total destruction of their world.  In a desperate bid for survival, Griegor orders an evactuation even as the catacalysmic destruction is at their door.  Their plan is to flee to the neighboring planet Tristan, which has similar atmospheric conditions to support life.  Even as they struggle to load the transports for the exodus, Cormack an his minions break through and highjack the remaining transports.  Most of the inhabitants have safely escaped their planet, and now only a few ships remain.  Two contain the high ranking officials along with many of their people.  The others carry the Leath Mairbh (Lee-Ache-Mah-Rahve).  That is the name designated for Cormack and those forever changed by a deadly mist, created from the fallout of the explosions; the incidious work of Cormack's rougue band of mercinaries.

As they lift off and race for safety, the final demise of the planet occurs.  A deadly burst of energy hits their ships, disableing most of their navigational systems, rendering them useless.  The blast force acts like a sling shot, sending them into space on an unknow trajectory and unable to correct their course; they become helpless observers in their own coffins, hoping against hope that they find somewhere to live safely.  They become marooned on planet Earth in the 16th century Highlands of Scotland.  Now they must survive while simultaneously preventing Cormack and his followers from destroying the local inhabitants.  The story is about their struggle and how the Highlanders find themselves embroiled in this alien conflict.

The Final Betrayal

The story contines where Book two left off.  The Leath Mairbh are brutally driven from the peaceful shores of the North Sea and Castle Halymyer.  The Azoreans successfully explain the technique of Baruilty, which is the ability their culture has of supplanting their thoughts into the suseptable minds of their targets to Clan Chief William Keith.  As a result Cormack and Dagan are found out for the lying manipulaters they are and their people are driven like sheep to the South.  New romances are discovered and the Azoreans finally gain a permanent home.

The newest generation of Leath Mairbh, known as the "Empty Souls" have grown to legionary size and are Cormacks newest weapon with which he will drive Scotland into submission.  The Azorean espianage efforts are undone, as Cormack finds a way to foil their efforts.  Old prisoners become helpful tools in the hands of the Azoreans, especially now that a new technology has come to light that will alter their lives for good.  They willingly aid the Azoreans in developing their secret weapon that will ultimately spell the ruin of the Leath Mairbh.

Even more surprises await as the Leath Mairbh and The Azoreans head down the path that will lead to an ultimate conflict.  Will they be able to finally stop Cormack and his followers and rid Scotland forever of their evil villany or will Cormack win the day and have the power and influence he has been fighting so hard to obtain.  The Third book concludes with a dramatic and exciting ending that will leave you breathless.  Is this the end?  who can tell.
